Turnpike Lane bus station reopened yesterday with an overhaul that took one-and-a-half times longer than predicted.
The upgraded bus terminus has been installed with new lighting and been resurfaced since closing on July 21, initially for a two-month period. It was originally slated to reopen at the end of September.
Most bus routes will resume serving the bus station, although there will be no change to the current temporary arrangements for buses affected by the Wood Green High Road improvement work, which isn’t due to be completed until March.
This means Routes 121 and 329 will continue to terminate at Wood Green bus garage, by Wood Green Tube station, andRoute 232 will terminate at Buller Road, Wood Green.
