Two Cypriot police officers are in Limassol General hospital, in critical condition, after being shot last night Saturday at around 10pm in Ypsonas, Limassol
They had received an emergency call about a parked rental car, and that the drivers and passengers wew acting suspiciously.
When the police arrived at the scene they were shot at by the people in the rental car and they returned fire.
The attackers drove away and their car was found abandoned a few miles away in Kato Polemidhia.
Police have since arrested two a injured man, believed to have been shot and a 33-year-old woman.
