Nafsika Evangelou

Its with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce that our beloved Nafsika Evangelou died on the 8 of May 2021 at the age of 91. she was born on 03/10/1930 in Galata, Lefkosia Cyprus.
She moved to England in 1962 and in 1979 she opened Nea Salamina FC in Haringey which then changed name to Nafsika’s Restaurant. She leaves behind her daughter Alexandra, her son Bambos and his wife Haroulla. She also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren, Andreas, Michael, Natalie, Andrew and Costaki as well as her 2 great grandchildren Marcus and Theo.
Her funeral will take place on Thursday 13th May in her home town of Galata.
She will be truly missed by many.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη και βαριά καρδιά, ανακοινώνουμε ότι η
αγαπημένη μας Ναυσικά Ευαγγέλου απεβίωσε στις 8 Μαΐου 2021, σε ηλικία 91 ετών. Γεννήθηκε στις 03/10/1930 στη Γαλάτα, Λευκωσία Κύπρου. Μετακόμισε στην Αγγλία το 1962 και το 1979 άνοιξε το εστιατόριο Νέα Σαλαμίνα FC στο
Χάρινγκεï, το οποίο στη συνέχεια μετονόμασε σε εστιατόριο Ναυσικά. Αφήνει την κόρη της Αλεξάνδρα, γιο της Πάμπο και τη σύζυγό του Χαρούλα ως επίσης 5 εγγόνια, Ανδρέα,
Μιχάλη Νάταλι, Ανδρέα και τον Κωστάκη, 2 μεγάλα δισεγγόνια της Μάρκο και Θίο.
Η κηδεία της θα γίνει την Πέμπτη 13 Μαΐου στην Γαλάτα, Κύπρο. Θα λείψει πραγματικά σε πολλούς.
Αναπαύσου εν ειρήνη γιαγιά μου.
