Panayiotis Chrysostomou

It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Panayiotis Chrysostomou, passed away on 2nd February 2021. He was 76 years old. He leaves behind his wife Margarita, his children Elias, Xenophon and Despina, his granddaughter Margarita, his sister Myrofora, his brother-in-law Christakis, as well as many relatives and friends.
Panayiotis was an extremely God fearing man who was humble and always found ways to help his fellow human being, whether they were a relative or a complete stranger.
His funeral will take place on Thursday 18th March 2021 at St. Mary’s Church, 21 Trinity Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8LB at 11.30am. The burial will follow at New Southgate Cemetery, Brunswick Park Road, New Southgate, London, N11 1JJ at approximately 1.00pm. For those attending the burial, the grave number is KP1365.
Owing to the current pandemic restrictions, attendance at the church service is limited to only 30 people, who have already been notified.
Instead of flowers, there will be a donation box at the church that will also be available at the cemetery. All money collected from this box will be donated to St. Mary’s church where Panayiotis was a regular worshipper and member of the committee for the majority of his life.

Με βαθιά θλίψη, ανακοινώνουμε ότι, ο αγαπημένος μας σύζυγος, πατέρας, παππούς και αδερφός, Παναγιώτης Χρυσοστόμου, απεβίωσε στις 2 Φεβρουαρίου 2021 σε ηλικία 76 ετών. Αφήνει πίσω τη σύζυγό του Μαργαρίτα, τα παιδιά του Ηλία, Ξενοφών και Δέσποινα, την εγγονή του Μαργαρίτα, τηv αδερφή του Μυροφόρα, το γαμπρό του Χριστάκη, καθώς και πολλούς συγγενείς και φίλους. Η ζωή του Παναγιώτη μπορεί να συνοψιστεί με τα ακόλουθα απλά λόγια: “Αγάπα τον πλησίον σου ως εαυτόν”.
Η κηδεία θα τελεσθεί την Πέμπτη 18 Μαρτίου 2021 από την εκκλησία της Παναγίας, Wood Green, στις 11:30 π.μ., και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του New Southgate, περίπου στις 1:00 μ.μ. Λόγω των περιορισμών, η συμμετοχή στην εκκλησία περιορίζεται σε 30 άτομα που έχουν ήδη ενημερωθεί.
Αντί για λουλούδια, θα υπάρχει κουτί εισφορών στην εκκλησία και στο κοιμητήριο για ενίσχυση της εκκλησίας της Παναγίας όπου ήταν τακτικότατος εκκλησιαστής και μέλος της επιτροπής.
