Limassol police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving a woman and her mother-in-law.
According to the information available so far, the elder woman, was found dead in her bed with severe head injuries soon after 2pm on Tuesday.
Her daughter-in-law, was reportedly found sitting in a chair with a bottle of pills nearby.
A bloody axe was found in a dustbin outside the kitchen door. Police believe this was the murder weapon. Investigations are continuing.
