Part of Wood Green High Rd N22 remains closed following the burst water main on Bank Holiday Monday. Please use an alternative route. Thames water are providing assistance to local businesses. We’ll continue to provide further updates via social media.
Thames water say “We’re very sorry if you’ve been affected by the burst water main in Wood Green.
Our engineers are working to carry out the repair and get things back to normal as soon as they can.
For now, we’ve had to close part of the A105 (High Road) from the junction with Alexandra Road (North) and Turnpike Lane (South) to carry out essential repairs. We’re working as quickly as possible to minimise any traffic disturbance.
If you’ve been affected by the flooding or loss of amenities, we’ll have customer reps on site over the next few days between 9am and 5pm to assist you.
The burst pipe has been repaired and there is a clean up process now taking place and expect the road to reopen by June 7th 2021.
