The first of Cyprus Airways new A321 Airbus jets – Apostolos Andreas – has already started service.
The second A321 – Morphou – will be ready in late July.
The first A321 seats a total of 191 – 171 in Economy Class and the other 20 in Business Class.
The company said: “With the advent of two A321s, Cyprus Airways acquires a strong competitive advantage as the fleet becomes uniform, offering greater flexibility and unlimited use of our pilots, contributing to a decisive reduction in operating costs.”
The A321 is the largest of the four models of the A320 family and can carry up to 220 passengers. The CA configuration is designed to give the greatest space for comfort.
