Two men have been jailed for a total of 15 years for possession with intent to supply cocaine.

Naim Berisha, 38, (15.6.77) of Grove Close, Southgate and Ryan Bojang, 26, (25.12.88) of Enfield, were sentenced on Monday, 30 November, at Wood Green Crown Court.

Berisha was convicted for the supply of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to supply. He was found guilty at Wood Green Crown Court on 12 October and was jailed for eight years for supplying 1kg cocaine and two years for possessing 25 wraps of cocaine with intent to supply, to run consecutively.

Bojang admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply at an earlier hearing. He was sentenced to five years and four months’ imprisonment.

A third person, Angela Cadar, 27 (21.5.1988) of Cheshire Road, Wood Green was jailed for 11 months after admitting to managing a brothel.

Police arrested the trio on 22 June after officers from the Met’s Central Task Force observed them in a car park in Pelipar Close, Palmers Green.

Bojang was stopped in the car park by officers who found a 1kg package of cocaine with a purity of 83 percent.

Berisha and Cadar were stopped coming out of the car park, where Berisha was found in possession of a wrap of cocaine.

Detectives later searched an address in Cheshire Road, Wood Green which was being run as a brothel by Cadar. They found a freezer unit containing 25 wraps of cocaine with purities ranging from five percent to 60 percent. The cocaine was offered for sale to the brothel’s customers.

All three were charged and convicted as above.
