† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT – FUNERAL

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Andreas Artemiou, on 25 September 2026, aged 91. He leaves behind his wife Yvonne, his two daughters and his four grand-daughters. His funeral service will take place on Friday 16 October 2026, at 10:30am, at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Panteleimon and St Theodoros, 30 Cavendish Place, Eastbourne, BN21 3JA, followed by the burial at Langney Cemetery, Hide Hollow, Eastbourne, BN23 8AE at 12:30pm. The wake will take place at Eastbourne Borough Football Club, Priory Lane, Eastbourne, BN23 7QH from 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Andreas’ memory to WaterAid UK would be greatly appreciated. Με βαθιά θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε την απώλεια του Ανδρέα Αρτεμίου, ο οποίος απεβίωσε στις 25 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026, σε ηλικία 91 ετών. Καταλείπει τη σύζυγό του Υβόννη, τις δύο κόρες του και τις τέσσερις εγγονές του. Η κηδεία θα τελεστεί την Παρασκευή 16 Οκτωβρίου 2026, στις 10:30πμ, από τον Ελληνορθόδοξο Ναό των Αγίων Παντελεήμονα και Θεοδώρου, στη διεύθυνση 30 Cavendish Place, Eastbourne, BN21 3JA. Θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο Langney, Hide Hollow, Eastbourne, BN23 8AE, στις 12:30μμ. Η παρηγοριά θα δοθεί στο Eastbourne Borough Football Club, Priory Lane, Eastbourne, BN23 7QH, στη 1μμ. Αντί για στεφάνια ή λουλούδια, θα εκτιμηθεί ιδιαίτερα η πραγματοποίηση εισφορών στη μνήμη του Ανδρέα προς την οργάνωση WaterAid UK.
