Kane and Saka score twice as England beat Croatia 7-0

England recorded their biggest Nations League victory with a commanding 7-0 win over Croatia in Rijeka on Saturday, 3 October.

Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scored twice each, while Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and substitute Morgan Rogers also found the net.

Thomas Tuchel’s side took control early, with Kane opening the scoring in the eighth minute after collecting Bellingham’s pass and finishing past Dominik Livaković.

Bellingham doubled the lead in the 21st minute, converting from close range after Gordon kept Saka’s cross in play and supplied the midfielder.

Gordon then headed in Jarell Quansah’s cross before Saka added a fourth shortly before half-time.

England continued to dominate after the interval. Kane scored his second from Elliot Anderson’s delivery, before Saka struck again to make it 6-0.

Rogers completed the scoring after coming off the bench, rounding Livaković to finish.

The emphatic victory followed England’s win over Czechia and marked a strong response to their opening defeat against Spain.

It was also England’s second victory over Croatia in 2026, following their 4-2 win at the World Cup in Dallas.
